Solid platform, minor delivery issue

I purchased the annual Professional plan last month. The ordering process online was straightforward, and I appreciated the clear pricing for the annual discount. Getting the E-Signatures set up for my new clients was quite intuitive, and the Client Payment Portal has definitely streamlined collections. The integration with QuickBooks Online works as advertised, which was a big plus for me. My only slight complaint is that it took about three days for my account to fully reflect the enterprise volume discount I was expecting, even though I applied it during checkout. I had to contact support, but they resolved it quickly, within a day. Overall, the quality of the Workflow Automation and the Business Insights Dashboard has been excellent, providing good value for the cost. It's a reliable tool for practice management.

Made things easier

So, I decided to give Ignition a try for my small accounting practice. Honestly, I was tired of chasing down signatures and payments. The Engagement Letter Templates were a lifesaver, really cut down on the back and forth. Setting up the Automated Reminders was super simple, took me like 10 minutes. My clients actually paid faster this month, which was a nice surprise. No complaints here, it just works how you'd expect. Definitely made my life a bit less stressful.

Always reliable service

I've used Ignition for my firm's client onboarding and automated billing for a few years now. This latest renewal for the Professional plan was just as smooth as the previous ones. The Xero integration still works seamlessly, and I haven't had any hiccups with the recurring invoicing. It's why I keep coming back, honestly. No surprises, which is exactly what I need for my workflow.

Good for proposals

Signed up for the 14-day free trial. The Proposal Templates were easy to use. Automated Billing seems straightforward. Will probably stick with it after the trial ends.

Is Ignition good for a really small accounting firm, like just me and one other person? Or is it more for bigger operations?

R Raj 2 months ago
Totally fine for small firms! I run a solo practice and it's been a game changer for proposals and billing. Scales up, but works great for small too.

My firm is pretty tiny, like 3 of us, and we use it. The automation is super helpful even if you don't have a massive client list. You can customize the plans to what you need too, I think.

Hey guys, thinking of signing up for Ignition. How do their payment processing fees work? Are they super high or pretty standard?

N Nina 2 months ago
From what I remember, they're pretty transparent about it. It's usually a small percentage per transaction, not crazy different from other platforms.

Yeah, they integrate directly with your payment processor (Stripe, etc.) so the fees are basically whatever that service charges you. Ignition itself doesn't add a ton extra, just manages the whole workflow. Saves a lot of headaches though.
